DOCKSOLID @ Dry Bulk Europe 2014 Event in Amsterdam

Representatives from Buttimer Group will be at the annual Dry Bulk Europe event, taking place this year in Amsterdam. The conference and exhibition take place from September 21st - 23rd, and is free to attend! Buttimer Group, along with our DOCKSOLID equipment brand, will have an exhibition stand at the event, and Director Fergal Buttimer will also speak at the conference, on the topic of 'Fit-for-Purpose' design for terminals and equipment.

VIDEO: Port Technology Interview Buttimer About DOCKSOLID Mobile Hoppers and Bulk Terminal Design

Fergal Buttimer, the owner/director of Buttimer Group, recently gave a video interview to Port Technology International (PTI) Magazine about the recent launch of DOCKSOLID bulk port equipment and Buttimer's other business area in the ports sector, dry bulk terminal design.

The Interview was conducted as part of Port Technology's TOC Europe preview, with the magazine's latest edition featuring 20 interview's with leaders in the industry in advance of the TOC Europe - and TOC BULK - conference taking place in London this June.

Dockside Loaders for the Port of Hull

The Port of Hull, part of the Associated British Ports (ABP) group, has ordered two DOCKSOLID loaders, to handle biomass at the Port of Hull.  The units will be designed and fabricated at Buttimer Group's workshops in Cahir, Ireland.

When completed, commissioned and ready for operations, they will be shipped from the Port of Cork to the Port of Hull. The two DOCKSOLID loaders will boast state-of-the-art dust prevention and suppression technologies as well as the equipment's famous steering design for tight-space manoeuvrability and flexibility.


Shiploader Delivered to Liberia

An all-wheel-drive mobile shiploader has been delivered to ArcelorMittal in Liberia. The system, whos innovative chassis that drives in straight, parallel and radial modes was designed by Buttimer Group, is designed to load iron ore at a rate of 2,000 TPH at the port of Buchanan.

The Shiploader was designed in partnership between Buttimer Group and Telestack ltd., a mobile equipment producer based in Omagh, Northern Ireland.
